Overview
Facilities Management has emerged as an interdisciplinary field primarily devoted to the maintenance and care of commercial, residential and institutional buildings, such as large format complexes, hospitals, hotels, office and shopping complexes, retail malls, arenas, educational institutes, convention centers and the ICT industry. It is a profession that encompasses multiple disciplines to ensure functionality of the built environment by integrating people, place, process and technology. Facilities management, in its widest possible sense, is concerned with the dynamic interaction between an organization’s personnel, processes and place. The most important function of facility management is to provide, operate, maintain and improve supporting services in order to create an environment that supports the primary processes or objectives of organizations.
The Post Graduate Programme in Facility Management for Working Executives (PGPFMWE) is designed to educate students in foundational management principles, enhance facility management skills and knowledge, and prepare them for advancing their careers in the facility management area. Students will learn leadership and business skills necessary to respond to the demand to keep their facilities highly efficient and functional. This part-time week end programme, developed for working executives, can be completed in just 12 months.

- To develop professional competencies and skills in facilities management systems, techniques and processes of the built environment.
- To gain knowledge about the dynamics of operations and maintenance of facilities in a built environment.
- To acquire proficiency in controlling facility operational costs, quality of services and stakeholder management by integration of engineering, management and legal knowledge essential for this discipline

Duration for Semester-1 is 18 weeks

Semester-2
Duration for Semester-2 is 18 weeks
- Facility Financial Management

- Risk Management & Contingency Planning
- Human Resource Management in Facility Management
Semester-3
Duration for Semester-3 is 12 weeks
- Internship: Managing Special Facilities, Human Resource Management in FM
- Project Work : Each student is required to submit a project work for successful completion of the Certificate programme
Fee Structure
The Total Course Fee is Rs. 50,000/-
Tution Fee
Rs. 40,000/- payable in three instalments
- 1st Instalment : Rs. 15,000/-
- 2nd Instalment : Rs. 15,000/-
- 3rd Instalment : Rs. 10,000/-
Other Fee
Rs. 10,000/- per candidate towards University fee, Examination fee, Library fee, seminar fee, etc. is payable along with 1st Instalment.
Admission Process and Eligibility
Candidate with a Diploma / Degree / Post Graduation in Engineering / Technology / Management with minimum 55% marks.
Applications are scrutinized and eligibility is established on the basis of the documents submitted. Eligible candidates will be invited to appear for the selection procedure, which comprises Aptitude Test and Personal Interview

Enclosures: CV/Resume, Photostat copies of Education qualification certificates from SSC to B-Tech. The hall ticket for the written test will be sent to personal emails.
